The Winter Hair Guide

So WT?  Some little givens that one should not reject:  drier air, over dried hair, excessive straightening, and hair coloring.  Right?  Thought so.  Here are some simple tips to help.  First, use that hair conditioner you bought from your hairstylist, and never used.  What that conditioner will do is add desperately needed moisture back into your hair.  As a side note, your skin needs just as much extra moisture as your hair.  There are no excuses to have both bad skin, and hair for the winter.  Now do you see what all that summer sun has done to your hair and skin?

Second, turn down the heat.  Self-explanatory, but it always needs reiterated.  By keeping that heat on max, you're adding to the drought that your hair is experiencing.

Third, walk away from over the top blonde, and bring about a more natural looking blonde. Don't reveal your ever growing highlight; instead, get your base diffused with some precisely positioned highlights as well.  Embrace as well as flaunt a more natural looking hair color.  If you still need to be dramatic with your color think about cutting your hair sophisticated urban, and use the color to knock their socks off; however, don't have a color kaleidoscope going on.

Here is a final note to ponder.  If you don't have a personalized look going on, what is holding you back?  We want to work with you!  Remember, there is nothing hotter than a put together woman who catches every man's eyes, as she's a flow.  Discover us so you too can capture that man's eyes.

HAIR FASHION GUIDELINES

Listen up ladies! Before you venture outside onto the streets of San Francisco, position thyself before a full-length mirror.  Now, turn 90˚to the right and look left into the mirror; next, turn another 180˚ to your right and look right.  Did you see it?  Yes, the back half of your hair and body.  That's the half that the other half of the world is seeing that you're ignoring.  Bad mistake because Mr. Wonderful could be seeing that half as he verges in from behind.  Yup, very true.  Here is another question for you.  How does one become chic?  The answer.  With differing looks for daytime, dinner, exercising, beaching, lunching, and shopping.  You should be trying to change your look every 30-40 minutes; however, reality need follow only a few guidelines.  For hues of rich glossy hair color:

1. Keep hair well moisturized, and always use a cuticle sealer prior to styling. The more light that can reflect off of your hair shaft the glossier your hair will appear.

2. Plan ahead for tomorrow so that you have the right products to show off your haircut and hair color. Think of this as damage control.

3. Heat is the biggest threat to your hair. Hair dryers, flat irons, and the sun are your enemy. Cut down on the amount of heat you use, and seek out the help of a professional stylist for how to restore your hair.

4. Get a great haircut! Long layers play up shine, give volume, and bring out the color dimensions that your hair coloring has going on. Shredded, porous, or dry hair never looks good. Even the shortest of haircuts require thought out layers since they are the key.

Whether it be bold or subtle, your hair color should be an extension of your hair style. Oh, and no matter what anyone may tell you, scrunchies are not a look.  Visit us, and begin your journey for who you really desire to be.
